The idea behind our bath cape was to design a unique product inspired by each animal’s natural habitat. We chose the elephant, the hippopotamus, and the whale, placing them in the environments where they belong. “Phanty” the elephant lives on dry land, surrounded by plants. “Hippo” is in the muddy waters, and “Oceana” the whale, in the sea. Each animal feels happy and safe in their element—and we hope your baby feels just as comforted.
All our bath capes are made from 100% cotton: a double-layered muslin combined with one layer of linen fabric, representing the natural environment of each animal. This combination is extra soft for the baby’s delicate skin and remains fluffy even after many washes. The cape features a tie belt on the chest to help it stay in place and small magnets that make fastening simple—so easy that even a toddler can do it! The embroidered animal on each cape is handmade with care, love, and attention to every detail.
